Welcome to The Old Chapel, Crook Lane
The Old Chapel is situated on Crook Lane in Winsford. Parking is to the right of the building or on the roadside.
Before 3L Care took residency in the Old Chapel it had been used as a warehouse and was previously a Chapel for the local community. Today it is a compact, yet spacious, six bedded home for people with complex health needs and physical and learning disabilities.
The entrance to the home is situated at the front of the building via a fully wheelchair accessible ramp to the large wooden Chapel doors. A secure door entry system is in place and upon arrival you will be welcomed by a member of our team.
A corridor leads you down to the lounge area. The lounge is large and very spacious with lots of natural daylight. This is where those individuals that use our service spend most of their time when they are not out and about. A corner of the room houses the dining table and also access to the fully fenced private garden.
The garden is accessible to everyone and the summer house allows us to be outside even when the weather doesn’t.
The Old Chapel has six light, spacious and well-furnished bedrooms. Each room is equipped with a profile bed, a sink, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a bedside table and lamp and a TV.
We encourage our families to personalise their rooms with photographs and items from home. Our team of very talented carers are also on hand to personalise the bedroom to meet the tastes of the individual.
There are three bathrooms at the Old Chapel which comprise of rise and fall baths and shower/wet rooms.
The fully fitted kitchen allows us to prepare nutritious home cooked meals on the premises and all the laundry is done in house.
Those individuals that live with us at The Old Chapel also have the full use of the facilities at Chapel House.
At The Old Chapel you have access to 24 hour residential care with 24 hour waking nursing care 365 days of the year.
