Information for Commissioners 

3L Care operates nursing and care homes for children and young adults with complex health needs. We work together with individuals, their families and the professionals involved in the provision of services.

Our homes are both CQC and OFSTED registered and provide 24 hour Nursing and Social Care, 7 days a week. We are able to respond quickly and flexibly and deal with emergency referrals when required.

Our homes are staffed with highly trained professional Registered Children's Nurses, Registered General Nurses and NVQ Level 3 Carers. Our management team will work with Commissioners to ensure that we can provide the highest quality service within budgets. We will manage every process involved in caring for children and young people from first contact, development of care plans, on-going provision of care including activities suited to individuals as well as day care and any transport required. Additional services include physiotherapy, aromatherapy and water therapy in ourin-house pool.

Every home has a dedicated Nursing Manager responsible for quality and efficiency. This ensures continuity of home management and communication with families and professionals.

As a result of our high level nursing capabilities we are able to provide post-operative care such as spinal injury so that early discharge can be brought about, making an easier transition from hospital to home and helping alleviate bed blocking in hospitals.

We can also assist with the transition fromchild care to adult care and help alleviate the problems and stress that this can cause.
